The Angel Afterlife series highlights the fight for balance between the light and the darkness inside a human soul. This journey will lead Quentin, a 20 year old student, to become spiritually aware after being “visited” by evil entities from another dimension. These entities are popularly known as demons. They hunt and enter people’s minds and souls in order to corrupt them into inflicting pain and suffering to themselves, and also to others around them. The energy created by such actions will feed the demon. However, humans have mental and emotional barriers set in place ever since birth. But these barriers weaken if the person has a negative attitude, is undergoing a spiritual awakening, is depressed, is emotionally hurt, has vices, or does something terrible to another person.

When a demon makes its way to a victim’s inner world, the situation is called possession. Though, there are spiritual fighters known as paranormal agents who fight these demons to protect mankind. Every important country has agents and divisions under the command of the Ministry of Defense. They are special people with spiritual powers who can conjure weapons or improve their physical attacks, or harness mental power to connect with a possessed mind.

Once inside the mind of the possessed person, an agent has to find the source of the human’s problems or find the demon’s lair. Either way, a battle will take place for the control or release of the victim. This fight has its toll on the agent’s body; every wound done in the inner world inflicts pain or even real wounds on his physical body.

This book series will present the new life Quentin has to adapt to after becoming spiritually aware, and also how demons are trying to start an apocalypse.

The Supernatural Powers

Chakras are best described as wheels or vortex’s and they refer to the seven energy centers of which the human energy system is made of. These Chakras function like valves that regulate the flow of energy through this energy system.

There are seven major chakras in the human body, and also numerous less-important minor ones. They are energy processing centers, and the chakra system (comprised of the seven major chakras) is the energetic connection to the realm of pure consciousness and one’s spiritual essence. That is a reason why the paranormal agent’s power is called spirit essence.

The energetic operations in these chakras are what make every aspect of the bodily, emotional, mental, and spiritual life possible. Each of the seven major chakras or primary energy centers, has its own character and corresponds to a unique aspect of the being.

The Demons

Once a demon makes contact with the human dimension, his body becomes a shadow. In this form, it can influence people or even possess them. But it can’t use its powers until it safely gets inside a human’s inner world. But, if certain conditions apply, the demon can physically manifest in the 3D human world.

They are attracted by negative energy or spirit essence, both of which feed them into growing stronger. They hunt either alone, or in packs. Their turfs are well known, and trespassing can stir a fight. They also have clear hierarchies and domains within the demon realm.

The Paranormal Agents

Out of all the people in the world, the paranormal agents are the ones who fight evil in its various forms. They stand watch over people, and especially those who become spiritually awakened, protecting them from hungry demons in search of negative energy or spirit essence.

The body governing the paranormal agents around the world is the International Bureau for Paranormal Activities (IBPA), with its headquarters in Genève, Switzerland. Otherwise, each important country has agencies under the payroll of the Ministry of Defense.
